As one of the world’s top art palaces, the Prado Museum in Spain presents its classic collections in Shanghai through an innovative multiplayer, interactive VR format. Guided by docents, visitors will move between two physical exhibition halls and virtual spaces, experiencing the amazing blend of drama, art, and technology.
The exhibition carefully selects several treasures from the museum, including Velázquez's enigmatic Las Meninas, Bruegel the Elder’s The Sense of Sight, Veronese’s Venus and Adonis, Goya’s Witches’ Sabbath, and Bosch's The Garden of Earthly Delights. VR technology is employed to vividly display the details of paintings and their behind-the-scenes stories, immersing the audience in the scenes of artistic creation.
The exhibition will be held on the 2nd floor of Jiushi International Art Center, No. 1 Zhongshan East 1st Road, Huangpu District, from July 4th to October 12th. It can be reached by taking Metro Line 7 or 10 to Yuyuan Station, or by taking Line 2 or 10 to Nanjing East Road Station.
